Don't you love winter? It means so many nice things like Christmas, and New Years and happiness but problem with Christmas and New Years is that these things only last for one day, two if you count the Eves. However, there is one thing that lasts for two or so weeks and it is called winter break. Yes, winter break, the joyous time where teenagers and children alike are set free from the bondages of the ultimate evil we all call school and get to be LAZY. Look at me now. There are a thousand much more productive things I could be doing right now other than updating a journal on deviantart which you must admit is fun but not altogether beneficial to society unless you are Emiko and everything you do is beneficial to society in your mind. I could be cooking lunch, cleaning my room, reading an educational book, or ringing those really annoying bells and asking for donations to some good cause whilst standing outside of Walmart. But when I think about it, none of those things quite match with the requirements of being a teenager during a break of any sort. It is in the rulebook of teenagers especially that while on winter break, one must be lazy, sleep all day, or when one is not sleeping, engage in something completely useless and unproductive. Oh and eat. You can never forget that.
We are the people of Perpetually Bored. We are the people of I Don't Want to do What You Tell Me. We are the people of Teen Angst and Hunger. We are teenagers. This is our life's work.
Speaking of perpetually bored, why doesnt Deviantart have mood for bored. The closest I can come is lazy or tired.
And to those who are offended by the stereotype of teenagers being lazy, don't be. It's just for fun.
